no. and some people running JServ standalone (manually) don't have the
jserv.conf on the host running JServ (this file is NOT read by JServ)

Yes, this should have been done, but I (& nobody) didn't work on this as
the "new features" development is frozen since > 2 months ...
SSL is supported, and also user certificates in 1.1b4. but not all
environment variables are sent to JServ : SSL_CLIENT_DN &
SSL_CLIENT_I_DN are the only SSL env var sent.
That should do the trick, otherwise use ajpv11 (only with Jakarta or
JServ1.0 :-(, as all ajpv11 code has been removed.
I of course am +1 for a stable release (tired of 1.0 FAQ)
later, I'll try to propose some protocol enhancements (socket keepalive
between Apache & JServ, could boost performances)
