Just to let folks know. I cannot get configure to work correctly on a Digital
Unix 4.0D
box running Stronghold (Apache) in an alternative directory - a directory other
than
/usr/local/apache...

Here's my commands:
 ./configure --prefix=/alternativedir --with-apache-src=/alternativedir
--with-JSDK=/alternativedir/jserv/jsdk.jar

I get an error that follows:

Could not locate one or more of the necessary Apache header files.
Please check that you have passed the correct location for the Apache
directory. Note that you must run either Apache's 'Configure' or
    'configure' program at least once if you have never compiled Apache before;

this generates certain necessary headers files based on your platform.

I have poked around at the configure scripts but haven't been able to figure
out
a workaround for this. Needles to say, I have run Strongholds "Configure"
program under the src directory many times before running this JServ configure
script but stronghold2.4.2 does not have a serverroot level configure script.
Maybe this is related. I dunno...

Thanks,
Cere
