Java Developer
Location: Temple Terrace - FL
Duration: 6+ Months

*Position Responsibilities: *
Technical Lead needed for designing and developing automated software
solutions to support automated provisioning of Enterprise access & voice
products using Java, J2EE, Oracle middleware and RDMS technologies.
*Required Skills & Experience: *
* TOGAF, ITIL architecture standards
* Networking business domain expertise
* Experience in developing provisioning workflows that provide for
automated provisioning & workforce management
* Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements
workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases,
scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
* Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile
conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from
low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user
requests from the underlying true needs.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal
customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and
deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional/Business
Requirements, High Level Architecture, System Requirements etc
* Experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and
management systems and methodologies required.
* Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
* Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of
project managers
* Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a
thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and
translate them into application and operational requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and
subject matter experts.
* Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates.
* Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the
technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance
needs.

**Desired Skills & Experience *
• Java/J2EE programming experience including Servlets, Hibernate, etc.
• UNIX, C/C++ programming
• Designing and developing 2/3-tier application with RDBMS
• Commercial application servers like Weblogic or Websphere
• XML technologies, SOAP, Web Services, and Web applications
• CVS or similar source control system
* Excellent oral & written communication/presentation skills across
multiple levels of management
* Demonstrate the understanding of design patterns, architectural
standards, guidelines and best practices.
* PL/SQL, packages, procedures and functions
* Working knowledge of Perl or shell scripting
* Ability to quickly perform proof-of-concepts for validating new
technology or approach
*Education and Experience *
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Generally requires minimum of 5 yrs. experience in a related discipline.
