bq. Could we leave (eg) TopDocCollector extending HitCollector in 2.9, and then
in 3.0 change it to directly extend DocCollector (Hitable)? (This saves having
to deprecate TopDocCollector and at least 2 others).
If we do that, I don't think we can do our check to use base or not by checking
for HitCollector right?
