Rajesh,

Java Enterprise Edition's 2nd release was having many modules and APIs
to make it a big hit. So Java Enterprise Edition's 2nd release was
used by programmers all over the world. It was called J2EE.

Now Java is very much matured, Java Enterprise Edition's 4th version
is there, 3rd Version is there, 5th Version is there so it should be
called J3EE, J4EE, J5EE etc, but this will cause many dis advantages
so numeric is dropped and it is called JEE or Java EE
