He has not received the quality of candidates that he is looking for. Many of the submittals have up to 6 page resumes filled with acronyms. He has found through his first set of interviews that many of the candidates only have a familiarity with many of those skills, not in depth knowledge. He did not find one candidate so far that meets the senior level he posted for. Communication skills have also been an issue with the candidates so far....he needs someone who can get their point across and communicate effectively. I will be sending a note out to all suppliers asking for more resumes. As stated before, the manager is not interested in resumes that include a lot of "fluff", filled with acronyms where the candidate is not all that familiar with what is being represented. He needs a very strong Java developer with Hibernate/Spring/JBoss experience. Flex experience is also desirable, but the main skillset he needs is core Java and Web based enterprise application development. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Java Tech Group" group.
