Job Summary: We are looking for a Captiva Product Architect on behalf of our client, Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Covington, KY. Summary Our information architect will create, develop and implement user interface web applications. They will work with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper development is executed and visual design is achieved. Key Responsibilities 1. Maintains a thorough understanding of product features, flaws, and customer needs through frequent business product use and interaction with customers / sales reps / support reps 2. Develops and maintains the product functional, application, information and technology architecture leveraging common assets (enterprise, division and product line) 3. Conducts trade study evaluations and makes recommendations that assist the PLA to guide the evolution of the product line 4. Enforces technical quality standards for the product (documentation, coding standards, SQL DDL and DML, service schemas, fault and diagnostic logging, configuration, etc.) ensuring the product may be efficiently operated by service delivery and operations staff 5. Actively participates in planning, definition, design & integration of product releases working with other product architects as required to assure consistency of product development and adoption of the product line asset base across the product line 6. Regularly reviews product capabilities and recommends strategies for refactoring that eliminate waste and minimize effort to maintain the unique assets of the product 7. Provides technical insight and assistance to QA, DBA, performance test teams, operations and engineering staff to assure efficient operation of the product 8. Resolves product architectural and technical quality issues as required 9. Ensures compliance of product and infrastructure components to IT roadmap and blueprints minimizing wasted effort through reuse of established infrastructure, identifying requirements that are not currently met by standard technology stacks or product line core asset base and advocating solutions for these gaps to other product architects and the Product Line Architect. Coordinates with multiple groups across Fidelity to ensure all non- functional requirements (availability, reliability, capability, usability, etc.) are addressed Qualifications: 1 EMC Captiva Platform experience is a must 2 Extensive experience in web design and development 3 Experience building web sites from conception to production 4 Fluency with design and prototyping tools 5 Business and technical analysis and solution design 6 Strong communication and facilitation skills 7 Excellent organizational skills 8 Familiarity with software delivery methodologies -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Java Tech Group" group.
