Hi Gimantha, There is no recent book. However, there is some interesting content that you can find about Lucene and Solr internals scattered in blog posts and conference presentations. I would recommend having a look at Mike's blog http://blog.mikemccandless.com/ and videos of Lucene Revolution, ApacheCon and BerlinBuzzwords which regularly get a fair amount of Lucene/Solr-related talks.
