I've just put up a Beta of a product called
"Jicasso" which is free for anyone to try at
http://www.kagi.com/equitysoft

It allows you to put together a 3D scene in
a WYSIWIG way and save it into an applet.
Most of the lights and fog are supported but
right now the objects are limited to the
3D primitives and text but the dimensions of these
can be altered and the new objects so created
saved and reused.

It may be useful if you want to experiment with
 various lighting schemes and textures.

Only one behaviour is available which is rotation.
More to come.

If anyone has any problems getting it running
let me know. Double clicking the JAR will cause
the think to freeze up to some reason with the splash
screen appearing and nothing else so please
use the "Java -jar Jicasso.jar" command. There's
a bat file to run it if you are on Windows.
