I don't believe this is a z-order issue. And you're right, the z-order could
be a problem depending on front/back clip distances, etc., and I've taken
care of that.
In my case, the LineArray displays perfectly one second, then I translate
the View Platform a tiny amount, and then ALL lines of the LineArray become
invisible. I've attached two small GIF's, LineArr1 and LineArr2, a before
and after picture, respectively, which show a region near the top of my
Canvas3D. The canvas3D background is white, and the gray and blue bars at
the top are the menubar and the application title bar.
In LineArr1.gif there is no conflict between the Z-order of the quads and
the linearray. In LineArr2.gif, I just moved my object up a tiny bit
relative to the viewer.
