Unfortunately, I doubt Apple is that interested in doing this. As stated
by a previous post, they haven't even begun to implement Java 2 !!!

I think somebody needs to gather a group of people, get the Java 2
source
and port the thing to Mac ( ala Blackdown ). The problem is, will the
Java 3D source code (the native one, not the java source) be available
as well ?

Waiting for these big companies to do these things really sucks. There
*must* be a better way ...
