This is a great idea. I understand your reasoning behind
not reccomending brands and such, but it would be nice to
include "general" features that increase your success. I
for one am having a hard time finding a card with a texture
memory that will is supported by X-Window under UNIX
(Starfigher appears to be only supported by M$). Ofcourse
my current card is a 2D/3D with 4 megs so I don't know how
much improvement this would make.
