Hi,
I'm trying to create my own ViewPlatform and View classes. I attach view
branch to locale (via TransformGroup). But for some reason i see
absolutely nothing when running the application. When i substitute my
own view branch with the one that SimpleUniverse gives (that is when i
use SimpleUniverse class instead of VirtualUniverse) everything works
providing that i call
simpleUniverse.getViewingPlatform().setNominalViewingTransform();.
Without this line Canvas3D looks as black and dead as the one i usually
get. I looked up in sources what this function acutally does,
implemented this in my own view branch and..... nothing happened again.
I wonder if there are any strict rules about the sequence of creating
Canvas3D ViewPlatform, View, attaching the components to each other,
etc.
