This is just to document some problems I've noticed.

My platform is NT, with a Viper 550 card (16m), using
jdk1.2.2 and java3d1.1.2, testing the standard 'ReadRaster'
demo and the 'ExRaster' demo from David Nadeau.

Using the driver version 4.00.1381.0127 (available from micronpc)
the javax.media.j3d.Raster is visible if the display is set to
'true color'. A javax.media.j3d.Raster is _not_ visible if the
display is set to '65536 colors'. (I prefer the 65536 color
mode for the better performance I get with animations and
interpolations.)

I tried upgrading to the driver version 4.00.1381.0203 (available from
diamondmm) and got the following result:
A javax.media.j3d.Raster is not visible in 'true color' mode nor is it
visible in '65536 color' mode.

Reinstalling the older driver got me back to being able to see a Raster,
but only in 'true color' mode.
