If you have 3DSMax 2.x 3.0 there's a free plugin that will export them.  If
not, there is a utility around that used to be called wct2pov(sp?) it does
multiple format conversions. It is now called "crossroads" I think.  Just do
a web search and I'll think you'll find it.  There may be a link to it at
www.3dcafe.com in the free software catefory.
