Support and management of current GIS computer systems. 2. Evaluate new software purchases against standards 3. Establish system access and security 4. Provide technical support to users 5. Install and test new equipment/upgrades 6. Conduct software maintenance including installing the latest releases and tuning of supported software (ESRI (ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcSDE), Microsoft, VMware, Oracle, Citrix, Google Earth Enterprise and etc) and software patches. 7. Provide a DC GIS development environment so that new software and applications can be tested prior to their deployment on the production environment at the OCTO Data Centers. 8. Review and testing of applications related to GIS systems. 9. Lead implementation of the next phase of the Central GIS system. 10.
