I am not sure what will make this more killer then RuneScape? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RuneScape For MMORPG are the console graphics as important as the gameplay, and (more importantly) userbase? RuneScape could add better technology, but harder for Poisonville to add 100M new users ;) But if it lifts the game (pun intended), this is is good! Also ... I am currently visiting a Chinese company that have a successful business from a MMORPG written in Java with the same business model of free to use, just costs for in-game items. The game has over 20K active users, and supports over 5K concurrent users. It uses less then 2MB of memory, doesn't require a 3D card, only 700KB to download, and runs on billions of devices - It is a mobile app :) http://www.lakoo.cn/g/1008604 http://translate.google.com/transla <http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http://www.lakoo.cn/g/1008604>te?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http://www.lakoo.cn/g/1008604 <http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http://www.lakoo.cn/g/1008604> So my question; Is there a successful (or not so successful) MMORPG for mobile running in the western world that anyone is aware of? /derek > In a nutshell: > > Poisonville is a game like "Grand Theft Auto"-Serie (GTA) or Rockstar > Games with similar 3D graphics and user experience.
