In a nutshell: Poisonville is a game like "Grand Theft Auto"-Serie (GTA) or Rockstar Games with similar 3D graphics and user experience. Up to 5000 player can play together in a single game. The UI is a Java Applet which is said to work with any browser and any operating system. Only thing required is a beginner level graphics card (30 Euro) with OpenGL. They burned a million Euros to make this happen! Wow.
