I joined this mailing list less than a week ago, and haven't read the archives, so I can't tell if this is directed at me in particular. As far as I know I haven't been the first to mention Scala in any thread, and haven't acted as a 'fanboi'. If you disagree let me know and give a thread subject and I'll have a look and try to change something.
I wouldn't want to harm the 'feel' of an existing community.
