I'm wondering what will happen to all these users if Google looses against Oracle. There could be a whole lot of revenue out there for the getting if it goes Oracle's way.

    Every time Android gets a new user, Google wins.

Beyond propaganda (and an Android fork is not Android) I don't think Google is happy whether its social stuff loses against Facebook. What I might say is that this could be a no problem, as it sound really weird to me that Facebook is able to penetrate the mobile market. In any case, as a developer I don't like Facebook forking a platform only for pushing their service, so I wouldn't spend much time to ensure that my apps run on their fork...
