Yup.

Another aspect of Java that's often underrated is the fact that we are
currently "stuck" with an industry standard that happens to be pretty good.
It's a fairly rare occurrence (compare with C++ for example. Or JUnit :-)).

Which is why I keep saying that despite the appearances, a huge majority of
Java programmers actually like using Java.
