I just want to point out that despite my comments I did not make clear that I have watched the original Tron more times than anyone should really watch a film and don't care about the imperfections.
I went to see Tron Legacy at the IMAX in Bradford so saw it it IMAX 3D glory. It wasn't a very busy showing so I got a good seat. I felt it lived up to my expectations and I enjoyed it. There was a dig in there about corporate profiteering vs free software with the whole Encom O/S 12 thing. Some of the remarks can be very easily seen to be aimed at one or more companies. Posting on Christmas Day. I have the parents around which means nothing is going to happen today in a hurry.
