Yet another very popular end user application written in Java - MoneyDance
- http://moneydance.com/

Possibly the best supported alternative to Quicken that Mac users
interested in managing their personal finances eventually find (and who
don't want their financial details out on the web ala Mint.) The Moneydance
discussion boards lit up when Apple first announced they were ditching
Java. (Also runs on other platforms supporting Java like Linxi and Windows,
which is of course the whole point.)
