No offense, clayton, but you've never met a teacher, have you? Those easy hours? That's just the time in the actual classroom. When do you grade tests and homework, work on lesson plans, talk to parents about discipline issues, and so forth?
And.as for those cushy retirement plans, maybe you don't get newspapers where you are, but those are getting clawed back all over the country. Started happening about a decade ago. I dont know what this all has to do with java, but this "teachers have out easy" business is what's silly.
