Marilyn Did you mean that you received a higher number of spam messages after installing IE7? If you are, then that may be why suddenly the same is happening to me but only on the machine with IE7 on it the others with IE6 don't seem so bad, or the whole thing could just be coincidence.
I have to say though that like many others I'm not overjoyed about IE7 and am considering removing it and going back to IE6. I can tell you, for what little comfort it may bring, that I hated ie 7, too, as it screwed up everything.
