I'm using jaws 6.0 wouldnn't the "repair be on my system? If yes, where do I 
look for it?

  Hi, 20 minutes seems like an exorpatant amount of time!  Mine comes up in 
about 30 seconds.  Could yours be running some kind of a virus or system check 
at start up?  Check this out by looking at your Programs at Startup.  If they 
are there, clear them out and may be set them up on an automatic update time 
for when you might be asleep.  

  If that is not of help, put your original program disk back in the computer 
and start the installation process.  Either 1 or 2 steps in to it, it will 
detect that you already have JAWS and will give you a chance to Repair or 
Modify.  Click on Repair and see if that helps.
