Hi, you will not find this in the Recycle Bin. To restore it therefore, you have to find the my documents item from within the start menu, press the applications key to open the context menu, and press enter on show on desktop. Please note this method will only work if you're using the XP layout, otherwise you'll have to look in Folder options and press space on show my documents on the desktop. Hope that helps.
