HI Ralph. I second that advice from Leonard. If you use the Microphone jack for a thing like that, it will come out sounding irritatingly distorted. Use the line-in plug if you have one. Do a test recording to make sure your levels are exceptable from the cassette player as well as in the line-in recording volume on the computer.
