Hi,

In the program you want jaws to "sleep" for, go to the configuration manager
and press alt s for set options. Go up one to advanced options and hit
enter. You will be in a dialog on "sleep mode enabled" which is unchecked by
default. Press space to enable it and hit tab. If you want to unload the
synthesizer (useful if using sapi4 or 5) check that as well and hit enter.
Now close the configuration manager and say yes to save your changes.

HTH!
