Tom, have you tried JAWS key+Windows-key+F4, which closes JAWS but brings it
back again? Much more effective than JAWS key+F4 without the Windows key.

I have noticed the Jaws crashing issue here as well, using Jaws 18 on my
Windows 7 laptop.

It seems to happen occasionally when I am exiting out of a Microsoft Word
document.

Exiting out of, and then re-starting Jaws does not seem to help, nor does the
Windows run command.

Very disconcerting, since the only way I seem to be able to get Jaws back is to
do a hard shutdown of the computer, followed by a re-boot.

Definitely not good.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS crashing

Hi all.

Recently, whilst using JAWS at work, the program has been crashing
unpredictably. Is anyone aware of an issue which could be causing this to
happen? I am currently using JAWS 18.0.2530 and windows 10.

Thanks,

Adam.
