Thanks, managed to find a good article on the web and it also gives a command 
line to turn it on and off but stupidly, I didn't bookmark that page.
With the access bridge installed, the application won't even open unfortunately.

The java access bridge needs to be installed.  If you have a newer version of 
java the bridge is automatically installed.  It does how ever needs to be 
turned on.  I do not have it on this machine so I can't be of much more help 
than that.
