Hi, Justin. I haven't been following this thread, but in Word 2010 you'll find your bullet-type options by doing the following:
Alt-h for home Press u for bullet formatting. There find the Bullets option and press ALT+DOWN to drop down the button, and then tab to the desired bullet type.
