The shortcut key for this is? 1, select all, ctrl A 2, press Alt, shift, ctrl, S 3, press F6 4, enter on clear formatting 5, press F6 again 6, press ctrl space bar 7, up arrow to close 8, press enter, and that will put you back on your document Patti
Hello- What Adrian says works quite well. There is another option, if I am in a document that has different formatting features that I don't want I select the whole doc with Control a or I select a specific portion of a document if the issue are related to only one part of the doc. Then, I press the Alt key and make sure I am on the Home menu. I arrow down once and tab through the formatting choices until I get to "Clear formatting." I press enter on the clear formatting choice and all formatting returns to what the default is set for in MS Word. At that point I can make any changes I wish for the whole doc or portions of that doc.
