Alone, this combo does nothing, as you say. However, if you mark a point in the 
text with control+Windows key+k, then move to another point and press this 
combo, the text between the two points will be selected.

What is this supposed press Jaws key alt M command IO keep hearing in many 
places, first, it is nearly impossible to execute and if one tries it does 
nothing!

Try pressing the letter, N.  This will move to the next block of text which is 
not a link.

Dear List:

If I want to read an article that is on a web page, or the first occurrence of 
non-controlled text, is there a quick navigation command to jump to the body of 
the article where text is found  without having to wade through all of the 
controls that precede it?  I thought the letter n would do it, but I was wrong.
