I have a hot key for jaws 7.10 and 8 respectively.. Just when I booted back up there was no speech and 8 was unchecked... So wonder if jaws assumes the next version in question and make it the default as jaws 7 was removed and 7.10 next in line which it was checked to startup, but didn't hmmm... Well you answered my question and thanks..
