What information? Are you sure it's actually coming from the Windows Defender
programme? Because what you deescribed earlier definitely sounded like a
fishing scam.

What's Defender telling you?

Follow Up on the previous message. I found out how to get the information.
It was in Windows Defender. Now, my question has changed. How do I quarantine a
virus in Defender? Thanks.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Virus Warning

Morning all.
Using Jaws 2018 and Windows 10 on a dell laptop, has anyone ever gotten a
message from “Microsoft” stating something about a virus? The voice on the
message was feminine, and British. And it gave a toll free number to call, or
it will disable my laptop. It said something about sending my information to an
unknown IP address. Unfortunately, mornings for us are at best hectic and I was
not able to determine whether it was credible or not. I also would like to know
of there is a way to get previous notifications regarding issues such as this.
