Cher, here's how to do it in Firefox:

1. Press alt-t for tools, then o for options.
2. Tab many times to theĀ "Language" section.
3. Keep tabbing until you get the option to  select "Check my spelling as I 
type."

In Firefox, this is a common problem for me. However I don't see any option for 
turning this off under quick settings.

While focus is in a browser, open JAWS quick settings with JAWS key+v. An edit 
field will appear. Type the word "spell" (without quotations. Wait a moment, 
then arrow down to the results. Are you familiar with how to navigate quick 
settings?

When reviewing text in edit boxes and browsers. Jaws keeps saying misspelled 
for words that I know are not misspelled. How do I turn this off?
