hi derek, thanks for the instructions. I already have all the stuff added with copying and renaming the jsb file and adding that line of text you explained. I have done the upgrade to 653 and it still seems to work well, without recompiling all over. so my problem solved itself...again, thanks to all who wrote and helped regards chrissy
