Also, if you install and/or remove software regularly, and if you change no
options in the install, silent installs save time and the possibility of
mistakes or variances between installs. For clarity's sake, silent install
in this case means an install that runs in the background, fully automated,
that never shows on-screen at all. It isn't the typical install less speech.
