Hello Riana, There are a couple things you can try. First, you can turn off the reading pane in the view menu. use Alt+V and then arrow down to the reading pane menu choice. use right arrow to move into the submenu and then down arrow to the "off" choice and press enter. The other thing you might try is changing the reading pane options. Open tools menu with Alt+T then press O to open the options. Use CTRL+tab until you are at the "other" page tab. Use tab key until you get to the reading pane button and press spacebar. The first checkbox should not be checked. Use tab key one time and make sure the checkbox for "mark item as read when selection changes" is not checked. Use the OK button to go out of dialogs. Remember that you can also choose to have only unread messages showing by making that choice in "current view" under the view menu.
Take care. Brian Lee brianl...@charter.net The preview pain is turned off. How can I set it to retain that status until I've read them? The same happened when jaws 9 was initially installed on my pc some time ago, but the distributor changed some setting to rectify it. Unfortunately I don't know what and where. Any help would be appreciated.
