Do you mean it brings up addresses after you have only typed a few
characters into the address bar? I have had this happen several times and
the problem disappeared after I restarted my Browser.
From my experience with this kind of problem, if you just ignore the address
it reads back and press enter after you are done typing the URL for the web
site you want to visit, you will have done everything correctly and your
Browser will load the web page. If you attempt to move through the addresses
that are being displayed JAWS will lose focus on the address bar.
This is not the way it is supposed to work. I press the down arrow all the
time to avoid typing in an address to a web site I haven't bookmarked yet.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] an issue with browsers
How can I get the browser from automatically putting in addresses I don't
want? I go to paste in an address and another comes up instead and it
ignores the one I just tried to paste. It is driving me nuts. I would like
to have it come up without any history at all. thanks.
