Hello Mark,

I think you are referring to the "form fields identify prompt using" choice, which has the "label" tag as default. You can change how prompts are identified in the configuration manager in the HTML options. Use Alt+S to move into the settings menu of the configuration manager that you open when using Internet Explorer. use down arrow to the HTML options and press enter key. Use CTRL+tab until you get to the miscellaneous page of the dialog. Use tab key until you get to a group of six radio buttons for making your preference on how form field prompts are identified. Choices are Label Tag, Title Attribute, Alt Attribute, Longest, Both Label and Title if different, and both label and Alt if different. Make your choice by using up or down arrow key, use tab key to the OK button and press enter key or spacebar. Use CTRL+S to save your changes.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Question About the configuration Manager

Hi
When I bring up the JAWS verbosity list in IE, there is an item that says "forms field identify using". I want to change this option and have it stay changed. The best way to do this it appears is through the JAWS configuration manager. However I haven't been able to find it there. How do I go about finding it?
    Any help is appreciated.

God bless,
Mark
