Also I forgot to mention that there is a tutorial on the audio page that discusses this subject of a corrupted out box. David Ferrin I tried thinking once but decided it was a bad idea. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <d...@jaws-users.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2009 9:39 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Question on how to delete all oftheoutlookexpress6folders.
The fact is if you find your store folder located when you hit control shift O and then control shift tab close outlook express and paste that information in a run dialog box the directory with your DBX files will open. At that point you can delete any of the files you wish. Keep in mind if you delete for example the out box DBX file it will simply be created again when you open up OE the next time. I've done this when my out box became corrupted once. The only way that I know would require sighted help. I may be wrong, but I think in fail safe mode you can delete almost anything. I do believe that the system will then rebuild these needed folders. Just make sure that you have a good backup prior to this action. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Albert Cutolo" <acut...@nyc.rr.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2009 7:56 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Question on how to delete all of theoutlookexpress6folders. Hello Mike and barbara. When I put my cursor on the inbox folder to try and delete it, I hit the applications key then arrowed down to where it said delete unavailable. Now, my question is, where do I go from here so that I can try and possibly delete all of these folders, so that I can rebuild outlook express 6. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike & Barbara" <mb69ma...@charter.net> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2009 6:25 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Question on how to delete all of theoutlookexpress 6folders. > Hi Albert, > > As Gerald said, the In Box, Out Box, Sent Items, Deleted Items, & Drafts > folders cannot be deleted.
