I wonder how much of this sluggish problem is actually due to the focus problem. In OE it usually reads messages ok, but too frequently when you delete a message it doesn't start reading the next message automatically. I do not have this problem with JFW 10. I think something has to be done about the focus problem. Although 11 has some nice features, I'm not sure it is worth the annoying focus problem to use it. I find myself going back to 10. And yes, I have filled out the FS form.

Yes, it's not one specific thing per say, but just a general slowness when trying to read something or navigating around a page and so on. Going up and down the list box of e-mails messages in outlook 2003, pages with lots of links in IE etc. JFW 10 just feels snappier and over all more responsive. That's why I thought I'd ask around first to get an idea if it just might be my machine and set up. I agree, especially with Windows 7, sometimes all of a sudden Jaws responds pretty late for no reason. -------------------------------------------------- From: "CrisMunoz54" <crismuno...@gmail.com> Sent: Thursday, September 17, 2009 9:06 PM To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Subject: [JAWS-Users] slight sluggishness with jfw 11? > Hello list, > > Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a slight sluggishness when using > jaws 11 as opposed to jfw 10? > > I've been switching back and forth between both versions since somethings > like firefox and outlook I'm finding work better with 10.0 and when I'm > using 11, it's as though there's a little hesitation with the reading > commands.
