As I recall, it's all accessible with JAWS9.

In the step 5 below, one wouldn't choose 'create a restore point' if you wanted to restore your computer to an earlier time. You would rather choose the "restore my computer to an earlier time" radiobutton, by highlighting it. Then choose next, or alt-n.

then comes the nitty-gritty. You need to click the appropriate button from among the list. usually, a left-click on the appropriate day/date will select that day, and you can then look at the time restore points on that date - if you press spacebar or enter on it. Then when you have got the right restore point, choose next and the restoration process begins. It will entail a few minutes of doing nothing on your computer to interrupt it, and your computer may pop up a dialogue of some sort. It then restarts. You are informed whether Windows was successfully estored or not. It usually is, unless you have had a problem of some kind. (There may be a tutorial on system Restore on site.

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Restore Points

I'm not sure which version of Windows I have, but I do know it's Windows XP. I use JAWS 9. I never created a restore point, but here's where you would go to create one.
1. Go to the Start Menu.
2. Go to the All Programs submenu.
3. Go to the Accessories submenu.
4. Go to the System Tools submenu.
5. Choose "System Restore."
Make sure the radio button that says "create a Restore point" is checked by pressing the spacebar on it.
Then press the "Next" button.
