Hello David.
Thank you for responding, and for the explenation that you provided
regarding m3u files, and how I might go about resolving this issue. Now I
need to ask, where can I get this program that you referenced called, m3u
tag program?

I think you must mean m3u files.
If you do mean m3u files then these are playlist files.
They are actually plain text files with a list of media filenames which
tell
your media player which files you want to play consecutively.
Typically you would use an m3u file to tell a player to play all the music
tracks of an album in the correct order. Or you can create your own
custom
m3u files.
It looks like, in this case, there is an error and there is a reference
in
the m3u file to a mp3 file that has been moved or deleted. You could
manually edit the m3u file in notepad to rectify this problem. This might
be
tricky if you do not know much about the file layout requirement. It might
be simpler to remove this m3u file and recreate it .
I use Media Player Classic as my media player but use an excellent small
program called Mp3Tag to manage m3u files. For example to create a m3u
playlist of files in a folder simply open the program press control D,
point
to the folder you want and then press control P , then enter and that is
it. If you go back to the folder in Explorer you will find a file called
mp3tag.m3u which will do the job. You can of course rename the first part
of
the filename but keep the .m3u extension.

Good evening everyone.
Could someone please explain what are mp3u files are Please? I'm asking
because I downloaded and unzipped Gene Asner's internet tutorial, and
there
are some files in there that are called mp3u files that I can't open using
windows media player senter 10, with jaws 11 and windows xp home
addition.
When I try opening them, it says something about pointing too a file which
has been moved or something too that affect.
