MSE stands for Microsoft Security Essentials, the free real-time anti-virus, anti-malware program from MS that is fully JAWS accessible and a breeze to use. Because of its simple interface, it should work with earlier versions of JAWS.

I believe MSE is Microsoft's spyware and virus protection, but I could be wrong though. I'm not sure which versions of JAWS it works with.
