Thanks. I will try out this tool! Can it merge scripts with Freedom Scientific scripts?

It turns out that I previously had version 5.2.x installed and the 64 bit capability was not available until version 5.3! So now that I have version 5.3.8, I need to test a 64 bit JSX package as well.

The software in question is on the programs page of this domain under the
jaws heading. I did use jaimalls program for a while but changed over to the program listed right above it on the server. I just recently bought a laptop
with XP on it so it will be quite a while before I get a 64 bit system
unfortunately all of those kinds of questions will be slow in receiving
answers until somebody I know gets such a system.

What is JSInstall? Is this referring to Jamal's JSX?

I updated my copy of inno yesterday to the latest version 5.37 or
something
of that nature. It worked the same so far as I can tell with JSInstall but like you have no way to know if it created the scripts that will work with
64 bit systems. I know they work with 32 bit as I did test them here. If
you
wouldn't mind or anybody else for that matter please keep me informed as
to
any progress in this area. I created a self installing version of the
Quicken 2003 scripts because somebody requested them.

I have heard that some developers packaging their scripts directly with
Inno
setup were successfully able to create a 64 vit package. There is a
single
line needed to be added to the ISS file to enable it to properly handle
the
64 bit registry. The following line needs to be added to the "[Setup]"
section of the ISS file:
ArchitecturesInstallIn64BitMode=x64 ia64

This will not effect operation on 32 bit systems.

Unfortunately, I think the current version of the JAWS Scripts Exchange
(JSX) program, which uses Inno Setup, simply adding this line is not
enough!
I have not gotten it to work yet. However, I have not attempted to update
Inno Setup separately. I would like to get this to work as well, but can
not test it by myself because I do not have a 64 bit system available!

I didn't notice when I went to grab the latest version if had built in
support for 64 bit systems or not so I was hoping somebody out there
might
be aware of this fact depending on what the case may be. Either way let
me
know if you would. I'm in the middle of posting the scripts for quicken
2003 on the server and after creating them it occurred to me to check for
the latest version of the Inno Setup program which is needed to create
self installing script files.
