Jeronimo,

When you open the sort dialogue box, you are in the edit combo box for the
primary sort column. If you use the up and down arrows, you can select from
the various available columns to use as your primary sort column. Otherwise,
you can simply type the column letter in. This combo box does not require you
to open the drop-down list with the alt-down-arrow before selecting the column.

Tabbing once from here puts you in an identical combo box for selecting the
secondary sort column and so on.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Sorting in excel

Hello,
I want to sort data in an excel spread sheet.
I click on data > sort (translated from German). Normally there should be pull
down menus to pick from the column headings. Jaws presents me with text entry
fields. My wife however is able to pick a column heading from a combo box.
Why does Jaws present this dialogue in such an odd way.
I worked with excel 2000 and everything was Okay. Now in 2003 there is no combo
box any more.
I am using Jaws 10.
Any suggestion is welcome.
Thanks
Jeronimo
