Hello Victoria;

I miss spoke, regarding your question.

the steps I sent in, will only stop jaws from announcing the period, when
you press the key.

if you don't want jaws to read the symbol, then? turn off the punctuation.

which program are you reading the books with?

Hi, I would like to turn off the announcement of the period off. When I'm
reading a book and there is ... an ellipsis, for a long pause, I hate it
saying "period period period".

Please tell me how you did that!

Many thanks! Vicky
